We played with 16 for 78mins.

Brissie scored a few lucky tries. Cassie unlucky not to go the length and was about 10cm offside. Nathan bombed a certain try in the 2nd half not passing...

We shouldve have won but the bounce of the ball and just a few little things didmt go our way.

But thats footy.. we'll be back..

I think the storm.will win next week by 20+

Yeah I agree with this take. Add in a little less desire than in years passed.

A couple of times while defending our red zone, the ball hit the ground - and everyone in a pink jersey stopped - the Broncos kept moving - and picked up 2 tries as a result.
The Mariner try too. He did well, but both Too and Edwards got a good piece of him. If they're at full tilt I think one of them gets under the ball.

The Willson try seemed very strange. I haven't had the fortitude to go back and watch it, but it looked criminal at first glance.

Edwards on Stagg's try was a good example at it. He was a reasonable position to at least go after it but didn't even move.
He might but have gotten the ball but it might have been enough to put Stagg off, I guess we'll never know.

I honestly think one of the worst passages of play was when Yeo broke away downfield and there was absolutely nobody with him. Not even close.

Where was our famed fullback? Where was our spritely young 5/8? Where was our sharp hooker?

Nowhere, when it mattered.

I've almost lost count the number of times I have seen Blaize make a linebreak only to then fumble/knock on. It is something I was harping on about early in the season and someone in here chose to argue about the issue with me. It bit us on the arse this time. Wish he would stamp it out of his game. I understand that every player knocks on occasionally, nobody is perfect, but there is something about his style that makes him prone to losing the ball in contact.

It drives me nuts. When he made the break I was shouting 'HOLD THE BALL' only for him to drop it as the words were leaving my mouth. So Frustrating, but I am not going to blame him for this loss. It was a 'team' effort, including the coaching.

Agree. He has poor ball security and that needs fixing. Also needs to add 4-5kgs of muscle to his frame which will help his defense. Still a teenagers body. He played a fairly limited role this year. I'm sure Ivan will increase his responsibilities in 26.

A lot’s been said about us running out of legs, but if Nath had just hit McLean on even one of those two occasions he went through untouched from three metres out…

Fatigue can affect decision making to be fair. Though that's the part he needs to nail as the 7 and why he has the knock on him at origin.

I am seeing a heap of talk about the refereeing being biased TOWARD the Panthers. Being a fan, I definitely didn't see it that way, I thought that we were held to a higher standard than the Broncos, but I sort of expected that given that it was their home game and just the general NRL bias against us.

The only thing I can think of is that in a normal game, Marto might have been sin binned. How did others see it?
