Almost every game day thread this year...
I didn't know that, let's talk about the no.1 ref instead of Checcin,Sutton rarely makes blunders doesn't appear prejudiced and in my eyes is fair.Thats my opinion.
What more can you ask for, people may come up with spurious facts but I am happy we have him,I didn't think Klein was that bad last week either he made mistakes both ways!

Checchin is great for Souths. He is biased in favour of Souths , we win 54% of games under him compared to 43% of games during that same period . That’s 11% positive and the most positive any club has under him.

St George are 4% worse off under him.

It’s a shame we didn’t get him
How dare you use evidence and proof!!

It hasn't worked before. It won't work now.

When people come up with facts that proves your opinion is completely incorrect , it’s best to just say “really , I was mistake. , sorry” rather than say the facts are spurious

No he doesn’t have better stats , Munster has the stats that count

Grand Finals

Munster 2
Cody 0

Premierships

Munster 1
Cody 0

SOO Matches

Munster 4
Cody 0

Australian Matches

Munster 2
Cody 0

Finals wins

Munster 7
Cody 0

Age

Munster 23
Cody 28

Head to head

Munster 4
Cody 1

Points differential H2H Games

Munster +58
Cody -58

Game on the line H2H

Munster 2018 Semi - Kicks winning FG

Cody 2016 - Up 14-12 with 2 minutes to go , Cody gives Melbourne a penalty whilst we had possession for a Shepard . Melbourne go own to kick a PG to go to GP then win by a FG

Winning are the only stats that matter and Munster is streets ahead

Contract time:

Munster- Over 1 mil a season.
Walker- would probably be on half that.

I know who I’m choosing. I want to keep the squad together not give all our cap to a player who’s off field habits have been known to bite him in the ass. Cody’s down at heaps of the Bears’ games as well, supporting the boys, rather than throwing punches at his team mates.

What are the percentages over the last 3 seasons though?
Percentages and proof are irrelevant. How dare you. I have spoken to many Baltimore ravens members and they all agree with me.

(For the record, since the start of 2015 Checcin has refereed south's 16 times for 8 wins and 8 losses. A 50% win rate. Of the 100 games they've played from 2015, they've won 48, so a 48% win rate. Claims of bias are demonstrably false. Thanks to the rugby league project for stats)

I have said it many times,we have the best left edge attack in the NRL,that is where Walker lives, his combo with GI is amazing.I have been following Souths since 1950 that doesn't make me infallible but I have seen a lot of our great players and this pair really dig each other's game.Watch their body language it's the best.
Makes one proud of our club when you see indigenous people doing so well!
Cody has had a lot of shitty luck in his long road to the top!He deserves every accolade he gets.Joey Johns and Sterlo are ardent admirers and that's saying something!
Imagine how many more tries we would have scored had GI been 100% fit all season?

You should compare with Sutton and Klein, the margins are generally tight any way.
The differences being marginal may mean prejudice by all parties.
I think Checc has come up with more clangers than the others, have you checked the last year or so?I recall Sutton hasn't had Souths all that much.

Thanks,as I thought Sutton has had Souths for 1 loss 1 win this year, not enough there for a positive analysis.
I feel much more comfortable with the no.1 ref in charge of such an important game rather than clangers Checcin.
It really can't be taken into account when you include Souths form in a certain period, etc.injuries the teams we were playing etc.The parameters are too fluid.
It does come down to opinions I believe.

GI will be gone the year after , so use GI's money to bring him in. He is much younger and a genuine superstar. We will need to rebuild the club sooner than you think , our halves are aging and so our our centres and forwards. Munster will be 25 , have a further 3 Origins under his built by 2020 and some test..

We need to chase class. Its not like he is replacing a superstar , he would be replacing a decent first grader who is inconsistent and yet to prove himself under pressure or on a big stage.

Just remember in 2014 both Cody and Munster were at the Storm and yet to debut. The Storm decided to sign Munster for 3 years and let Cody leave for Souths. Bellamy is no mug
