All I know is that the Eels made it to the GF without him. Good luck to him for being snapped by another major outfit but I wouldn't swap him back for a moment, regardless of the outcome next weekend, as hard as that might end up for me.

Im still confident the finch factor will strike down melbourne, but if ever a team with Finch in the halves is going to win a comp, its going to be when he's in a team containing G.Inglis and B.Slater. Particularly in their current form

So not as confident as i usually would be with a Finch GF team.
I hope come Monday week ill be LOLFinch'ing it up.

I will admit though, he's probably in the form of his career. If its going to happen, its this year or never tbh for the bird

Hope there is an Epic Fail heading your way...

Why switch then?

Cause im allowed to , i support neither side and i have changed my mind to Melbourne , they have been dominant the last 4 years and i believe they deserve another premiership to consolidate how good they have been.
If that upsets you im sorry

I would like Parra to win and keep the trophy in Sydney, however I'm sorry to say I don't see it coming.

Melbourne 13+ I think

They currently have a 50% success rate.

1999 - Win
2006 - Lost
2007 - Win
2008 - Lost

On those stats they are due a win.

Brett Finch does not deserve a premiership. To be cut from one club and leave with a dummy spit and then be rewarded with a premiership is just wrong and its already happened for clint newton.

I was going to go for Parra but i changed my mind, i want the Storm to smash them and Finch to win the clive Churchill then during his speech give the big FU to Daniel Anderson

Finch in the Storm is an interesting nuance to the game, but I think Parramatta making it to the finals with Finch walking out is a big FU to Finch. Seriously, who saw Mortimer clicking into gear as quickly as he did? When your senior half exits the club into the season and you don't replace him with a half of note, you wouldn't anticipate making the finals

I think Finchs perspective is interesting.
Anderson wanting them to play so flat and Finch basically stating he didn't have the speed to play as such and saying the forwards should be playing deeper.

The Anderson basically tells him to go and at the same time changes the style of play to what Finch recommended.

Go figure...not sure if Finch would have worked still...he seems more suited to a uppor roll rather than the lead roll. Like when he played with Fittler.

Im not saying what Parra did was wrong, i know i will get smashed for this but i actually rate Finch , he reminds me of Ennis and how much of a competitor he is , he is not a dominant half or a superstar i just like the way he goes about his footy and i thought he had a blinder the other night. He also seems like a down to earth bloke and i like the way he handles himself with all the things he does for the footy show
