Of course its a choice to bet, but if thats the case, and the NRL continue to take money from it, they have to ensure the integrity of it like stewards do with horse racing. Simple as that.

What about Jason King playing for Manly this week ( not even named at all ).

Justin Hodges a highly likely starter for the Broncos ( not even named ).

I mean they have massive influence on games. Of course its gambling , thats obvious, and its a choice! Of course. The lies that come from coaches constantly is why I don't gamble on the NRL. But others do...

However, those people who are privvy to profits from any gambling have to ensure the integrity of it. The same way stewards do with horse racing.

The NRL do nothing of a sort, yet reap in the profits.

Is his suspension over?

No that's next week. My bad. Sonny Bill Williams said last night on the Footy Show Hodges was playing - so shows me to listen to a Kiwi.

Is Housten likely to stay on the bench? He has been a solid performer for you guys this year. Doesn't make sense to me.

I think Houston needs a new bra....It looks like the one he currently wears doesn't quite fit right. The constant adjustments are a deadset give away.......

Figures show that 100% of men are wearing the wrong size bra...

Hey, I couldn't give a rats. We aren't sitting in 11th. Just making an observation.

Trolling implies more than once. I asked a question, and instead of answering the question you downplayed my observations. Personally, I like Housten and you can disagree all you like. It just would have been nice to answer the question.

houso does some good things, but he needs to refine his game and get the bullsh*t penalties and errors out of it.

The Dureau/Mullen/Bailey combo has been Smiths pet mind game selection enigma all year.

It's a good one. Maybe these things aren't a huge advantage but why not take any little advantage you can? It would certainly annoy me as an opposition coach to have to prepare for both Dureau's kicking game and Bailey's running game. It's not often you can sell two halves pairings that are almost equally likely to play and are very different in style.

Im just dirty that it's not on live. You'd think with digital TV and all you could have viewer's choice like you can with Foxtel. Or that NBN could flip 'em. So I'll have to watch it with no sound.

I disagree in saying our Mullen/Bailey/Dureau combination is a good one. It might be in front of the pathetic Bulldogs halves, the Warriors halves... Maybe on a par with Carney/Campese but again thats debatable.

Its in the bottom 4 halves combinations in the NRL.

Check out some other combos.

Pearce / Anasta
Cronk / Inglis
Orford / Lyon ( yeah yeah I dislike them too, but look at the ladder )
Kimmorley / Seymour ( see above )
Soward / Hornby ( Hornby did play for NSW this year rightly or wrongly )
Wallace / Lockyer
Prince / Rogers / anyone else alongside Prince...
Lewis / Graham / Sammutt ( who woulda thought Lewis would carve up 7 )
Finch / Mateo
Head / Marshall / Morris
Sandow / Wing
Thurston / anyone...

I can't put our halves this year ahead of any of the above.

Our halves rank in the bottom 4, argue over exactly where, but Mullen is worldclass - a true champion in the making - and anyone else playing there this year for the Knights is not.

One or two kick ass games out of Bailey and Dureau doesn't make a successful half, nor a career.

When we do kick ass in attack much of the time it includes Gidley playing in the first receiver role anyway.

As sad as it is, that's just the sad reality of it all, and our position on the ladder is almost in direct relation to the standard of our halves.

Mate, this is a completely different debate. Look at the text I quoted from your previous post: "Smith's pet mind game selection enigma". That's what I was referring to.
