I'm f**king stunned if that is the team that runs out.

Paterson dropped to bench while Houston stays in starting lineup?

Dureau dropped all together after good game?

I'm not too sure what Scotty's done to not be a) in the run-on side regularly and b) at least in the top 17 regularly. As for Patto on the bench, I'd say thats more to do with not playing him too much and consequently burning him out.

i'm convinced it isn't based on performance on either front.

Vuna is a friggen turtle this year I'm sorry to say, honestly Uate is a much better option I think

To be honest Job, he is a halfback, and thats all.

At the moment it seems Smith is happy with the current 6 & 7.

If we were not so thin on hookers, he would miss out all together.

The lack of organisation and kicking game is what really annoys me and Dureau can fix those.

Surely Dureau deserves the halfback spot. His kicking game was outstanding against the Sharks and everytime his on the field we score points. Bailey is obviously playin injured also his in doubt each week it's a win win situation, we get more attacking options and Bailey gets a week off to recover. Keen to see more Uate and less Vuna also.

bailey has been useless for a while now. was good when he hit first grade this year... but since then most teams have his running game worked out... and that is all he's got. that and the cut out pass that never seems to work.

I believe bailey at 5/8th is one of the reasons why we've been struggling to score points of late

No doubt. He offers no kicking game and Mullen's attacking kicking game has been lacking up until last week.

Dureau gives us 2 options and then Gidley a 3rd if really needed, as if opposition wouldnt fear that unlike now all they have to do is pressure Mullen's kicks and we're f**ked.

EDIT: That also means we'll throw the ball around more and that generates more errors.

My changes....

1. Mullo to 6, Scottie to 7, Bailey to 14 until Hilder gets back.
2. Simmo to front row, Tolar to bench.
3. Taufua in, Wicksy out.
4. Ciraldo to drop off bench, with Aku to warm up as 18th man to cover the inevitable breaking down of Maddog.

I reckon this makes us a much more dangerous and dynamic side...

I dont get why people want our best backrower at prop, it just weakens one position to strenghten another. Tolar is more than capable and has really stepped up this year. Simmo has always run great lines and attracted defenders out wide, he needs to be there, they have made him play the enforcer kind of role because of injuries each year but it just takes away from what his best at.

tbh i think simmos best years are behind him... and that he does very well at prop.
