I was on my way to AFL game at MCG then I changed my mind and went to Olympic Park to see my first Rugby League game,it was Storm`s first season (98) and I just went to have a look, I was hooked. It was Rd 8 and we beat Penrith Panthers 22-14. I have only been to 4 AFL games since.

Warriors/Panthers game at Centrebet stadium with my mum, dad and younger brother. Warriors conversion and kids in front of me tussling for the ball after the conversion.

Friday 3rd November 1967 - Ashes Series Game 2! Sorry, but I can't post a link to the game on the Rugby League Project website.

Getting up at some ungodly hour to watch the game on TV, this was when I was first captivated by rugby league, and one rugby league player in particular - Ron Coote. Those magnificent legs, and unbelievable cover tackles after chasing down the "speedsters" in the opposition back line. People go into raptures when they see tackles like Scott Sattler's tackle on Todd Byrne in the 2003 GF. Ron Coote did several of those tackles per game!

Dad played league in NQ in the late 50s and early 60s, but I don't really remember seeing him play. But come 1967, Australia v England, and I became a fan for life.

Going the 100 yards up the road to watch my hometown team play. Can't remember the first game as such but remember sitting on the bonnet of my aunty's car watching my uncle play. I was 5 and we won the comp that year for only the second time. Won it four times since. Club now folded and the town has no team. Probably wont again either. Union and soccer but no league in an out and out league town.

First game of Sydney football I recall was the grand final that year on tv but i would have been to a few local games before that.

Was either Origin game 1, 1994 with the miracle try.. or maybe a Test series against Great Britain around the same time in which Brad Fittler dominated (might have got motm in all 3 games or close to). I was only about 7 or 8 at the time so it's hard to remember but my old man woke me up for all those games.

'97 Grand Final. Grew up in a house that didn't support one single team so I pretty much clung to whatever appealed to me and I guess also growing up in Newcastle seeing all the houses done up was awesome to see. I essentially became a bandwagoner  But at 4, it's forgiven :3

With my dad watching the local area amateur final (standard cup) being played at the watersheddings ground in east Lancashire. Saddleworth rangers v (Possibly) St Annes. It was always a popular game and possibly the biggest amateur game often with a crowd of 2 or 3 thousand.

Year was late 1960's

First live game was 1998, us against the Rorters. Led 6-0 early then it all turned to shit like so many games against them back then.

First TV game I remember was the 97 GF.

Roosters 19 Eels 13. 30 April 1978. Sydney Sports Ground.

Remember Schubert going the length with Glover chasing all the way. Ankle tap, boot off, Schubert stumble but scores.

Also remember Graeme Murray having the crowd on the hill in stitches after someone on the hill tried to heckle after an eel try. Muz shot back quick as a flash with the crowd loving it.

1985 GF. First time they played one on NZ TV. Saints jumpers were like my family crest so I went for them and have been a Dragons tragic ever since.

First memory that has really stuck is the 1977 GF. I was going for St George in both matches, but cried when Mum told me that Parra had never won before & St George had more trophy's than you could jump over.

1980 Grand Final is my first memory. I was 5 years old and my grandfather had me supporting the dogs as that was his team. We won and I was hooked ever since

First I remember was Raiders v Roosters at seiffert oval in 1987 when I was 5. The folks had taken me to the footy many times before but that's the first I remember. Probably because we made it on to TV in one of the shots.

I had watched footy before, but the first memory of a match was the 99 grand final (I was 6).
Went in supporting the Storm, they were losing at half time, swapped to Dragons and of course they lost. Not that I cared because I was already a knights supporter (due to Joey)
