All 7 matches this weekend are on FTA in the UK which is nice.

No, just Saturday, as it was on Sky Sports 3, so the ppl with Sky Sports 1 & 2 on Freeview TV would not have been able to see it, that's why Sky put it on Pick. It was not for altruistic reasons or to try and spread the sport; it was to appease ppl who have bought SKY Sports on Freeview. Magic was on SS 1 today, therefore it wasn't on Pick.

Magic Weekend is amateurish, it's embarrassing, and Pommie refereeing, oh well! Get rid of this weekend, have the C Cup Final in May instead. Only SL teams in the C Cup, top 8 from the previous season. But have another cup competition. Final in July at home of one of the finalists. All 12 SL teams in that one, 3 groups of 4; top in each group into the semi-finals, plus the best second place team.

What? Only having Super League teams n the Challenge Cup is a terrible idea. You want to give other clubs the opportunity to play the top clubs, especially under a promotion/relegation environment. By my reckoning you have also added about 3 rounds on to the season.

Just watching day 1 now. I got up at 4am to watch Leeds/Wigan but didn't bother with the rest. Apart from the Broncos first 10 mins I've been very impressed with how they have improved as the season has progressed. I watched them against Leeds a couple if months back and even though they were stuffed I saw the effort there. The young kids are progressing game by game and it's only a matter of time before they get a win.

He's an anti-superleague troll. Ignore him. The rest of us do.

No, just saying it as I see it. Sometimes the truth hurts. How the frank can the NRL only have two more teams than SL? Ridiculous. If the NRL can only justify 16, then SL can only have 12 maximum, 10 would be more realistic.

And yes only have SL teams in the C Cup, no other teams can win it.

Fine have promotion and relegation. If you had 10 teams in SL there would be 18 SL regular season rounds, top 4 into the play-offs. So obviously that's 20 weekends of SL. 3 of the Challenge Cup, and 6 weekends of a new cup competition. And of course the WCC. So that's 30 weekends of RL on either SKY or the BBC, wish ITV would make a bid for this new cup competition to share with SKY, put it on ITV 4. But doubt they would be interested.

Catalans just way too good.

Saints had one of those days. And it got worse as it went on.

What the hell happened with St Helens V Catalans ???

Saints were awful. Barely took a set out of their half the whole game, their forwards did nothing and their defense was as bad as I've ever seen. And worst of all, they deadset gave up in the second half. Catalans played great, though, and were obviously enjoying themselves. I felt like I was on suicide watch at the Saints end, though.
