We are supposed to be building a high quality squad that will compete with other clubs to play in the GF in 2019. To do this in a positive way, we first must examine what went wrong in 2018, which players are no longer needed and which players to recruit in their place. From my point of view, the golden rule is to replace 'like with like or better' in an effort to improve the capability of our squad. In my opinion the way to do this is to first recruit/promote players to replace first graders and then to fill the gaps in depth in ISP.

I am of the believe that very little planning is going on and so SGI is being saddled with new players we hope will do well alongside some current players who have a history of performing poorly at key times during the season.

To address this we need a top first grade head coach and a restructure of management where recruitment/pathways will report to him.
