I think this article shows great disrespect to our club on behalf of Cook, Here I was thinking he should have the captaincy. instead now I think he should just not bother. Cook doesn't owe us shit outside of what he is paid for in his contract. South's were the ones that took a chance on him and he became an origin and test player there. Talk about getting worked up over nothing.

I would have preferred Cook to have said that he "was very much looking forward to playing at the Dragons and while that is the future for me, I would like to add that I will be sorry to leave South Sydney as it was the club I had spent most of my career at" and leave out the going back part. That would be ok said nearing the end of his 2 year stint with us.

Correct. I did read some articles earlier this week where Cook said he was excited about a fresh start at Saints and has been keeping an eye on us since he signed.

He also said he thinks the team is definitely moving in the right direction. His words!! Some people are never happy. Personally I’m looking forward to Cookie in the red V, he still has plenty to offer
