All this could be solved by having a distinct trade period like the AFL do. It would stop all the BS rumours and the fans would know exactly whats on the table and what deals are getting done. Its something that we will never know really what is going on but it would give us the benefit and reassurance that the club is actually being proactive in the market, or not.

But if he can't be moved on, he has to be improved. I swear I would lock him in the gym to lift heavyvweights and do repeated sets of wind sprints until he could resist being bent back in contact and could do repeated carries. If you can't be skilled, at least get through a lot of work,

personally I want Sloan at FB, but I’m seeing Flanno thinks he needs a year or two.
Tuipopotou did way better than I expected this year, and although he deserves the shot next year, I’m still not convinced his the best option. Lomax is gone, Rav is on the way out and regressed this year… Allen. Hasn’t played for ages, well that leaves Matt Fegai as my #1 winger at the moment, with Finau or tuipolotu the other choice.

We need a like-for-like replacement winger for Lomax. At this point in time the target is JAC. There is nothing wrong with having healthy competition for the other wing spot. The coach will pick the player he fells will be the better winger each week. He will also select the replacement for JAC when he becomes unavailable for a game.

Well that statement from Haran sure aged well didn't it? What a f#$king moron he is. Blake really demonstrates everything I don't want to see in a Dragon - slow, ineffective, a long term part of a pathetic losing culture and woefully out of his depth at NRL level.
I was pissed off when they resigned the useless log before a ball was kicked in 2023 and now we're stuck with him thanks to a braindead recruiting decision in the middle of the Griffinball era.
And before all the Blake lovers want to jump up and down and tell me he was supposedly our best player in 2023 - give yourselves an upper cut and ask yourself why all the other NRL clubs aren't falling over themselves to secure Blake's services.....

Don't forget many posters in this place were well and truly all on board with Lawrie being signed up long term and touted him as our future 1st grade and club captain.

As a Club we should be able to see the fluid changes in the game and how out of his depth he was.
The collective "we" love seeing Saints juniors do well, sometimes to our detriment.

Honestly, i hope Blake goes and makes a mint in the Super League.
He is not NRL standard by any measure.
