His 2023 form was "better" but still below NRL standard.I also think it is highly unlikely BUT if we cant I hope Lawrie gets back to his 2023 form.
Not sure if taking the mickey on that one.. but if Gutho had of had any other sydney based option we wouldn't have signed him.. I have no idea how hes going to get to work each day either...Further evidence that the commute is not a factor.
eh, Mona Vale to Parra or Kogarah is basically the same commuteNot sure if taking the mickey on that one.. but if Gutho had of had any other sydney based option we wouldn't have signed him.. I have no idea how hes going to get to work each day either...
My thoughts also. His 2023 form was "better" but still below NRL standard.
I'm still really nervous about our front rowers for '25. We miss the 8 again if we roll out the same front row next year, regardless of Gutherson, Holmes & Cook.
The gong part is what I meant, where our COE will be set up, though tbf that might be season 2026 by the time its built.eh, Mona Vale to Parra or Kogarah is basically the same commute
The gong is a different story - but I'm sure Gutho will make it work somehow
I'm more than confident Rev that something has been sorted out, what would have happened if the Cowboys wanted him and were the only club. This mentality of thinking you are going to remain in one place playing for the NRL is gone, finished and over. You are getting paid handsomely to move around , put your kids in a good school have a support network for the missus, all of that. Players of a young age that have to prove themselves, they better get used to moving around to do that, look at Mr Volkman, I bet no compensation for moving. Halangahu another one, he's moving to be closer to the club, and if he managed to extract something from the club because the club wants him, thats great. Wollongong is a great place and lifestyle even close to the shire, if a player wants to make it work then they will, if not thanks for coming, see yah.Not sure if taking the mickey on that one.. but if Gutho had of had any other sydney based option we wouldn't have signed him.. His daughter is 3 years old. He's a golfer and beach goer. The Gong for three years would be magic for him and his family.I'm more than confident Rev that something has been sorted out, what would have happened if the Cowboys wanted him and were the only club. Absolutely Mojo, at the very least he buys a place in the gong, rents it out when he leaves or sells it, nice little profit there. His daughter is 3 years old. He's a golfer and beach goer. The Gong for three years would be magic for him and his family.
May have some merit GS, what else are we going to do with him ?A bit out there but I wouldn't mind seeing Rav do preseason in the front row. He's certainly got the leg drive and tackling power plus in a more compressed part of the defensive line, his decision-making might be less of an issue.
Wingers who have successfully transitioned to the front row??A bit out there but I wouldn't mind seeing Rav do preseason in the front row. He's certainly got the leg drive and tackling power plus in a more compressed part of the defensive line, his decision-making might be less of an issue.

I don't see how it would work. He would be quite small for a front rower & doesn't have the work ethic or fitness levels to play it effectively. You couldn't start him and he would not provide impact off the bench.A bit out there but I wouldn't mind seeing Rav do preseason in the front row. Yes that was about the extent of my logic. If he's going to occupy a top 30 spot then we've got to do something with him. Plus he's bigger then both Molos and more athletic than Lawrie.May have some merit GS, what else are we going to do with him ?
The refs would rub him out. He hits too hard.Yes that was about the extent of my logic. If he's going to occupy a top 30 spot then we've got to do something with him. Plus he's bigger then both Molos and more athletic than Lawrie.
