Flanno knows the sort of props we need. If he can do something with the likes of RCG and Lodge he has to act now. If he sees them as maybe's then forget about them and wait a bit longer for the ones he really wants, but not too much longer as there may not be much left in the coffers.

Haas is not going to become available and won't go to non-top-four club. Lodge is 117kg and scary. At 29 y.o. he could get two one year contracts with us, as he is coming off a one-year with Manly. So why not? As for RCG, okay as long as he takes two years. The place is not a retirement home.

Maybe once clubs start throwing around offers for 2026, current players will see they are being or can be moved on. For example, if Hunt got a 2026 offer from the Titans, we might say, "How about you take Laurie and Rava too?"
