Amazing. He gets his 3 years and the Titans get another big fella to go with their other big fellas. Flanno is rigid and won't be moved from his 2 year deals or nothing principle which could mean we end up with the usual has beens and what nots but the show must go on ....wheeeee!
But maybe Flanno thinks RCG is a has-been for a 3 year deal? Why have Parra moved him on? Why does RCG so much want 3 years? Bcs he won't back himself to get an extension after 2 years?

Maybe this is we`re going wrong : (in today`s Oz)

"Daniel Saifiti sat down with potential middle teammates Tom Flegler and Tom Gilbert. Incoming coach Kristian Woolf was there, so too chief executive Terry Reader, and by the end of that meeting Saifiti was ready to be a Dolphin."

When he met with us:

" Saifiti sat down with potential middle teammates Blake Lawrie and Francis Molo..."

I think the Tits want Fifita gone, that clears cash.. but RCG isnt a like for like there..

Been 4 weeks since the season finished, 4 more till Nov 1.. surely some of this Hunt/Alpha-Prop stuff is done before then if its going to happen...

Some of these contracts are crazy. We may remember Fifita for example signed a 3 year contract with a get-out clause after 12 months if he didn't like the place. Which he activated, then changed his mind. Um, how did he go in the Dally Ms this year?

Shame, as likely means they have no money for old man Hunt
Think the only way Hunt goes to the Titans now in the off season is via a player swap.
There are some good forwards and speedy backs on their roster.
Plenty of us here would be ecstatic if the Dragons could end up with a really good 2 for 1 swap deal through Hunt leaving the club.

C'mon guys and gals, we all know if Flanno caved in to 3 years we would have all cried blue murder. You cant blame RCG either, this nonsense about not wanting to come to the Dragons for this or that, simply he wanted 3 years we only offered 2, Titans finally offered 3 years and he took it, good luck to him, we had a plan and we are sticking to it. I'll say this again, lets not F$#k up the pathways of some of our very good forwards that are coming through, we must allow this to happen. Build our strength in our own juniors and the NRL success will happen. The days of buying premierships are over. Leave that to the rorters and other clubs, Lets focus on what Penrith is doing and we should be as well.

I would have been fine with a 3yr deal, esp if the last year was on the cheap or even some sort of option.. a bad 2025 for us is.. not an option.. it will undo a lot of the good work.

But it is what it is.. lets just hope we get Lodge and maybe someone we werent expecting can be shaken loose.. from there the main question is what on earth is happening with Hunt.

I don't want to rely ion the pack we had this year.
We need forwards and there aren't many left.
We bought two from Manly and one has left already.
We spent going anywhere with what we have.
Our middle is soft.
We won in 2010 because we bought,Scott Smith, Costigan, Weyman and Had Saffy.in that era.

I do agree with you Jeff, but unfortunately the way our pathways had been miss managed has put us in this position. The Hook era of buying has beens and ignoring juniors stuffed us as well. We cant have it both ways now, the days of buying those players you mentioned is not there anymore, the only place our good forwards are coming from is from our own backyard. We have the Couchmans and thats a good start and I believe we may have a couple more from KOE if they stand up.
