Personally I'm of the opinion that if ANYONE switches codes, regardless of if they've going or have come back, then NO rep football.

Why should we reward players who turn their back on league?

Origin isnt about personal gain, its about much more than that.
Those that promote other codes over ours shouldnt take part in our showcase games.

That goes for all players on both sides of the border regardless of the code they went to or are going to.

This is not a Queensland vs New South Wales arguement, so stop fighting it along those lines. This is about rugby league. Turncoats are not welcome.

Try telling that to the layers who put their bodies on the line ... they deserve to be rewarded. If they weren't I think you could expect some "Matt Cooper/City/Country" type antics.

I think Issy has been far more honest and above board than someone who would announce their new contract and departure after origin. Thus he should be rewarded with a little more respect and compassion for not being surreptitious but being upfront and frank about the matter.

Is that right?

He was real honest, is that why he said during a promotion for the All Stars game in Blacktown earlier this year that he hopes the AFL takes hold in the West of Sydney?

He knew back then where he was going, he just wanted to play SOO.

He KNEW? How would he have KNOWN? How do you KNOW he KNEW?

He KNEW then they were going to make a competitive offer, perhaps.

But League or Union may hvae offered somethign more attractive before signing in ink to that offer.

FFS, the AFL has been talking to him for months, why else would he come out and say what he did?

I agree, he has busted his ass and deserves to be there on form however in the best intrest of RL he should be stood down. The game is now a business.
Please explain how that is in the best interest of RL?

I can't argue against the sentiments from many of the people who don't want him there, because you simply cannot argue emotions.
But I haven't seen a single logical, common sense or sound reasoning why he should be rubbed out...
