The fact his manager has been suspended for six months for his involvement in the Melbourne
Scandal cools have something to do with it as well.

Not sure that has anything to do with it Colonel.
I read that the management company has replaced his manager with someone else. Moses would still have his toe in the water no doubt. How could anyone stop it?

No Suity, I'm pretty sure last time Moses had anything to do with Israel he didn't have to put his toe in the water.

(I'd like to dedicate that awful joke to Parra Pete).

I would say it is to do with the ARLC signing off on his contract and 3rd party deals.
You would think they would want this done and dusted to get the extra publicity taken from the AFL, but then again the blokes running rugby league aren't that smart are they?
It's most likely another team like Souths have had a whinge and told the ARLC that Schubert has to go right over it etc or they will be up and arms over it.

BLUES Super Rugby coach John Kirwan admits he tried to sign Australian code-hopper Israel Folau but failed to get a response.

Former Australian and Queensland rugby league back Folau is poised to return to the 13-man code after walking out on a lucrative AFL contract with Greater Western Sydney.
Kirwan said he left an expression of interest with Folau's agent, believing the 23-year-old had potential similar to that of Sonny Bill Williams, who has forged a career in rugby league, rugby union and boxing.
"I didn't hear back so I took that as a no," Kirwan said.
"From what I've heard, he's a talented player. A bit like Sonny Bill, it might take him a while to get used to things but it would be worth the wait."
The New Zealand Herald reported that Super Rugby champions the Chiefs also pursued Folau.
Kirwan came up short in advances to former All Blacks fullback Mils Muliaina, who has decided to stay in Japanese club rugby.
