It was a shit post.
A player on $500k with a 60% increase goes to $800k, leaving us with only $600k to play with.
A player on $350k goes to $560k, leaving us with $390k.
Both of these have been given the initial 60% increase because the higher up you are, the bigger increase you would get.
3 players going from $250k to $350k (Poupou's "backtracking/change after he's proved wrong" estimate) leaves us with $90k to be distributed between 20 players - $4500 each.
This would probably cover the rise in the minimum wage for those on the bottom - or maybe be less than that (if it went from $55k in 2010 to $60k in 2013), meaning it's bullshit.
So, basically, it's absolute crap. There is absolutely no way that $250k = either $350k (revised backtrack estimate), let alone $400k, unless the only players to get an actual raise were the top five at each club, with no one else getting any actual raise, and that's assuming there are only 5 who were on $250k+ contracts.
