Canberra had little say in the result.
We just gifted them a 20 point headstart.
Then when we decided to play we won the last 60 by 20 -2.

4 tries to 3 and go home with sweet nothing.

I said to the missus at 20 nil l reckon we win this.
Once the rot stopped l knew we had points.

We were woeful across the park. I cant see one player who would get 3 points. Clunky. Slow. Running sideways. Disjointed.

And kokoďa can get fooked.
Run through a banner. Play a bugle.
Show a presentation in the big screen.
But we are cronulla sharks and our colours are BWB.
When you run out in them you know who youre playing for.
I for one had a sense of oh no when l saw them in whatever that was.

It was a performance reflective of a wasteful attitude. Not switched on.

Moyza dropping a simple bomb was a poor start.

yeah fook it indeed, we should have won the game, despite the early debacle, last that I looked, we still scored 4 tries to 3, Shaun J missed 2 conversions, and at least one try bombed (Feki).

As soon as we got some actual ball, you could see the difference between the 2 teams.

The team is arrogant. It’s a punish and has been for a few years. IMO they will turn up expecting to win some games without having to switch in. It’s mainly a
Mental game
For this team. Get that right and we can win the whole thing. Leave is it as it is and we are a week to week proposition.

You’re probably right Taipan.

The raiders are used to those conditions.

It won’t be that way when we go back there for a finals game ;)

Yep.
They fart arsed around for 20 minutes. Let the Faids run in 3 easy tries.
Then..when the games as good as over they decide to have a go.
4 tries later.

Stickys lucky we didnt turn up to have a red hot

We get a chance for redemption in Rd 24, a Sunday arvo.

Conditions will be totally the opposite that day.

I blame the 6 degrees .It took us 20 odd minutes to really warm up to the action.

That is always part of the Raiders home advantage. Teams should head up early and train at night/early morning a few times to get the shock out of the system. 6 degrees is quite pleasant for this time of year, could have been 1 with a wind chill taking it to -3.

I remember watching a great Raiders take on a great Broncos side in freezing conditions there in the '90s. Broncos were favourites but it was expected to be a classic. Broncos ran out in to the cold and you could see them wither instantly. Took them the whole first half to warm into the game.

I believe we will win this comp from between 5th & 8th, the only 2 factors that stop us, we need Moylan, Johnson & Graham playing in the finals fully fit.

And who is ever taking the kicks for goal kicks at 80% do that and win it

Brave call!

I believe we will make the top 4. If we don't we will merely be a nuisance in the finals.

I look at it like this our strike players Moylan/Johnson/Graham, will go into finals playing basically 15 games each they will be fresh, it wont have been a long season for them, a few of the teams at the top will have had a hard year with rep games.

There is no standout team this year, also us at full strength we have most strike power across the park.

You need to believe as well
