You can't do much about for and against in the NRL. You can't prepare before a game and say "lets improve our for and against today". its not like a local comp where there are weak teams who you know you can smash to improve your F & A.
At the end of the day, the way the comp is jusst about every team is going to get belted on a couple of occaisions this year, and similarly we should belt a couple of teams ourselves. its all about getting on a roll during a game. As has been shown, once a team gets on a roll, they can be close to unstopable.
