If you are really keen on that sensation but don't want to cut your mouth up you should look into chewing some raw Elephant Ear (the plant, not the animal part).

I say that because one of my most vivid memories from high school was one of my mates munching on that particular strand of flora due to an exceedingly stupid bet he had with another bloke. Ended up in hospital due to severe swelling of his tongue and once back at school he described the experience as akin to chewing on shards of broken glass.

Of course I do not recommend anyone do this at all. Ever. Most of us see and do stupid shit in our formative years but that particular incident went close to taking the cake.
