Sorry mate, Hartley is the next Aussie Keeper.

I'm a queenslander and even I don't think Hartley is close. He is not dynamic enough with the bat.

I would say Ronchi is our next keeper, definitely in ODI after Haddin. Test depends on how consistent Ronchi becomes.

I reckon WACA will go OK this year

the only thing in favour of the Vics is that they'll have no rep players this year, but I stil dont think they heve the depth

I agree there. I guess it depends how long Gilly goes for. If Gilly goes for 3 more years Haddin will be in his 30's as well. You would think twice about putting someone in their 30's in the ODI or test team if the other options are around the same and are younger. That is not having a dig at Brad Haddin, who like Macgill is unfortunate to be born in the era of our best keeper EVER! It will be interesting to see what the selectors do in terms of our keeper. But you are right about consistency about Ronchi!

I would prefer somebody who is a keeper first, then a batsman, thats why I prefer Healy over Gilly, Healy was a lot better behind the stumps that Gilly.

Thats a personal opinion and I respect that opinion. I am the other way as I'd rather a batsman-keeper who can turn a game with a brilliant hundred. Nowadays you need to bat and bat well as a keeper. Gilly is definately not bad behind the stumps and will break Healy's record sometime this yr or next yr. He'll go down in most people's eyes as one of the best if not the very best keper-batsman, ever. But it is a matter of opinion.

NSW are screwed

McGill has pulled out today in the game against SA, and Hauri has been a last minute inclusion

Redbacks win the toss and Blues get to smash Gillespie and Tait all over North Sydney oval

Christian and Thornely doing some rebuilding after the loss of 3 wickets. Gillespie already bowled out too.

thre batsmen getting into the thirties and getting out

Christian, Hadden and Jaques

4 for 147 off 30 overs, still a good run rate but too many wickets lost
