As a lifelong Newcastle United fan I have zero sympathy for him if you want to see how badly managed a sports team and how fans can truely have the piss taken out of them then look up my club. I still wouldn't start supporting Chelsea absolutely no f**king chance.

I think a better analogy would be if Man U and Man City merged. If you were a massive Man City fan and all of a sudden your team is being treated like shit by the bigger part of the merger, would you still support them? Its not really the team you support any more its a bastard child of what your team used to be and your side of the merger is being abused and taken advantage of. Its not the same as your team being rubbish for ages. Souths were mostly rubbish for decades but its different to what has happened to Wests.

It had nothing to do with the magpies. Alien started supporting souths after he got booted from the WTs official forum getting in fights with fellow posters over a new 'Rep point' system that had been implemented. Straight after he was banned he announced on LU that he was sick of the way the magpies were being treated and came out as a souths fan. Obviously the fact that he had been banned from a forum where he was one of the top 3 posters was a coincidence.

He then proceeded to lay the boot into the club completely unprovoked on every single occasion as the WTs endured its worst couple of years in the NRL. If he had of gone away and supported souths without being a complete fckwit to every WTs supporter it's likely no one would have cared and let him be.

Then they are the only ones who should care. Others seem to have taken a vested interest in it and I don't get it.

In all seriousness to shadow, the things that are holding us from being a top 4 team falls into 8 areas.
Duds- to many dud players
Coconuts- to many players of islander origin
Maguire- Maguire's current game plan
Burgess- we need to get the best out of high paid Burgess Bros
Tyrell & Clark- how do these guys kept being picked
Brown- need to keep brown at all costs
Recruitment- we need better recruitment.
Caucasians- we need more Caucasians players.

So i put these problems up on a brain storming board

Maybe take it a step further. With our team of super intelligent Caucasians, we'd need a more suitable uniform. We play most of our games at night, so all white outfits would be more suitable for vision. Maybe a one piece outfit, made of nylon so it's hard for other teams to get a hold of our players. Long sleeves of course. Shorts are last century. So maybe a long flowing robe will help with footwork. Concussion is a problem so head gear is needed. But maybe a pointed design will help with aerodynamics when they make a break.

Why even post something like that? Although it was pretty funny and I had a good laugh, it directly goes what everyone else in the forum was saying a while ago about members posting irrelevant comments. I mean users attack other users on here for posting nonsense and creating meaningless threads, yet those who do the attacking are part of the problem.

As for the whole thing about Islanders, people who think it was anti-islander diatribe completely missed the entire point of the post. What was said was both constructive and contained some form of validity. Moreover, the post itself didn't express a hatred of islanders or called for them to be wiped out, so I don't know why references are being made to Nazism and KKK cookouts and stuff along those lines. I was merely pointing out their intellectual limitations within the game of rugby league; its not as if I said they were an inferior people. Moreover, Exsilium made an absolutely fantastic post, which expanded on some of the points that I made and gave valid arguments as to why islanders may struggle with the mental side of the game and it is well worth reading.
