tyrrell has definitely gone backwards since then and corrigan was an injury proned dud,even farrell and everingham were not world beaters but they were both much better than corrigan in the backs...

i was watching the qld cup on tv today redcliffe vs cutters and tautau moga and cherrington played well far better than say tyrrell and auvaa have lately.....and thats saying something...there seems to be a few better players running around in the nsw and qld cup games than in our 1st grade side of today....

every one loves sammy he is a true gentleman i remember my mates words as we were having lunch a few years back at the coffee shop at redfern oval with merro,mcqueen,isaac,reyno,and a few others and he said to me on the quiet that sammy is the nicest bloke thats ever come thru the doors at souths but when he puts the boots on it seems a set of horns comes out of his head and he is a different man my mate said to me when he runs out onto the field i never forgot that...
