But it doesn't mean its the reason were so shit either.
True, but the current playing list there is a lot of players who are over payed Sam is a good example of this.

You can't be serious????
Sam is one of the best and elite forwards in the game as Sterlo said the other night.
800k is the right price. You can't pay him less than that.
Heck even Taumalolo is on a million.
It's the twins that are getting too much at 550-600k each.
Sam is triple the player they are.
I'm sick of your criticisms re Sam. Imo they are unwarranted!!!!!!!!!!
Without Sam we would be wooden spooners!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am being serious. Are you serious? Criticisms re Sam?
You know how the Salary cap works right?
We can't continue to pay overs for players and wanting to sign more higher class talent. Sam is good but his best form was in the back end of season 2014. His price tag doesn't match want he is currently worth. Gi and Reynolds are in the same boat.
I am being serious.
Have you been watching our matches and how great Sam has been????
My oath he's worth 800k.
WITH Sam The Crisps are almost last now!!! Just face facts: the Burgess Brothers [and that includes Sam] and Inglis have largely strangled the Salary Cap yet their production has collapsed. Sam earns much more than $800k from what I have read its almost $1m POUNDS per season. Sam has played strongly true but he is NOT a match winner. Yet this is what he is paid to do. Until this imbalance is confronted the team will likely be second last or last especially if Maguire remains Head Coach. They cannot afford to import any quality players. You can't be serious????

Look at where the team is and its trajectory. Its almost the wooden spoon NOW - With Sam !!!!You can't be serious????

The Crisps are 1-2 games away from being LAST NOW!!! Their trajectory is second last or last once Newcastle strengthens its roster The Crisps will be a favourite to finish last especially if Maguire The Burgess Clan Reynolds and Inglis all stay together.Don't start on the Sam Burgess thing again!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We had to bring Sammy back. Blind Freddy can see that.
Stewart and Grant weren't losses for Sam.
Dylan got moved on my John Lee.
We made the mistake in keeping Turner over McQueen.
Without Sam this season we'd be wooden spooners!!!!!!

I watch the games and yes he has been one of our best but he isn't worth 800k.
That's as other teams have improved and evolved.Look at where the team is and its trajectory. Its almost the wooden spoon NOW - With Sam !!!!
Sam is not a particularly skilful forward so I agree that $800k seems exorbitant!
If Sam is worth $800k Fifita is worth over a million a season.
If you guys want to see why you are struggling I think you need to look at how the players who have left you have fared.
Walker, Brown McInnes probably the best examples.
All three are playing the best footy of their careers after leaving your club.
This means that players are not reaching their potential at your club, which usually comes down to coaching and man management.
It also means that the players who you are so fond of slagging off may have a bunch of unlocked potential.
