Have any of you guys ever stopped to ponder why you are the classic underdog story but there are supporters of other clubs who hate your team passionately?
Its the perfect Cinderella story. Struggling club from a struggling area. Wins a premiership with a mix of exciting players, tough forwards and homegrown talent. Picks itself up from being the laughing stock of the league to take on the big end of town with support from a wealthy but self made passionate movie star.
It's seriously something straight out of Hollywood. It's a better underdog story than any in the mighty ducks franchise.
Other teams' supporters picketed on your behalf. Other clubs got behind you. Everyone who was passionate about rugby league wanted you back in the comp.
And you made it. You not only got back into the comp but you went on to win one. Such a story.
And yet, your club is widely hated. How could this be?

Having a look through here I've softened a little towards your club. I've realised that when I picture a bunnies supporter I picture the ones that I've mentioned above. I guess the loudmouths are the ones that stand out and it's easy to forget that the majority of bunnies supporters are solid blokes. Shame that the face of your club on these forums are the dumbmerkins that aren't really representative of the decent ones.
