ask yourself how many of these duds above would get a full time gig at the broncos or at the cowboys at present? they certainly would not had got a full time gig at easts 3 years ago that's for sure, even today at the storm not one player would get a full time gig in melb im sure bellyache would kick em to the curb!!! maybe one dud above would get a bench spot at manly but that's about it no top 8 side would touch these duds!!!! souths did and that concerns me...

Where are all the young guys that played so well in the Charity Shield against the Dragons this year ? I was very impressed with their efforts in the absence of most of your top 17. I can't remember their names but the kid that played fullback, another in the centres and some of the forwards were terrific but I haven't seen them since.

I have a feeling we did not recruit to improve our roster or depth. Perhaps, we recruited
to replace old duds with new duds because they're the only type of players we can afford.

In sailing, it's like replacing a broken Sail with 500 handkerchiefs. It might get you to your
destination in 1 year instead of 1 day. But it will get you there.
