Bill never did it.

Well before his time

Don' really know but it sounds like something that would have happened way back in the dark ages or because another ref suddenly became ill.

I'll have a stab at "Webby" NEILL who reffed from 1916 to 1932--surely he MAY have done 2 games in a day in a career that long!!

8372. Plenty of Warriors fans in Bondi.

Plus the Warriors tend to lose outside of NZ, which will give Bunnies fans a reason to turn up.

How do you have so many members and such small crowds?

As we haven't had day games. We seem to just get 1 each year.

The day game against Penrith we got 14k.

there you go. Where did you find the answer?

There's an article online about Hooper as the very first referee. He was quite influential around 1907-08.

Also the Rugby league Project provided a process of elimination with their complete list of refs from 1908.

It clearly showed Ted having 2 games on 4th July,1908.
When Neill wasn't correct I narrowed it down to between 1908 & 1915.

In what year was the first ever official RL game played in Victoria;where was it played--who were the opponents & who won the game. An easy one.

Shadow--your turn to answer a question--or maybe Madunit can show the way!!

Bob HAGAN best fits the clues but Johnny RHODES also could!

Rhodes,a Qlder, may NOT have played in the Bris. comp first.

HAGAN is the most accurate fit!!

Both great players,Rhodes was brilliant!!
