Jerusalem was sacked by king Nebuchadnezzar and the Israelites were held captive in Babylon until he was overthrown by the Medo/Persian empire some 70 years later I think it was and the Israelites were set free, many didn't return to the promised land but spread across Europe.

Why should I have faith rather than just read the facts of science?

Science can't explain God, no one can.........just look at the miracles.

If we look at the Jewish name Isaacson we can see that the name Saxon was derived from it, the Saxons invaded Britain and we get the locations of Sussex and Wessex from that.

Well you know how if someone jumps off the harbour bridge when they hit the water they may or may not survive because it's like hitting concrete, then how can someone fall two miles from a WW2 bomber and survive unharmed?

You should know this, he was an Englishman, the bomber was on fire and so was his parachute when the order to bail out was given, he jumped without a parachute rather than be burnt alive, now that takes faith!!!..........he was found by the Germans and i think they gave him a medal.

My own uncle was a Lancaster pilot and he had a miraculous escape too after being shot down by another Lancaster at night.
