He had some very good games with us, some very memorable moments.

His first season or two with the Eels we’re fine, but once he seemed to lose a yard or two of speed his deficiencies maybe caught up with him.

Maybe never really recovered from his off field issues which saw his fall from grace with us.

Dont know where he goes from here, but has had a fair career even if he should have achieved more.

Api’s defensive performance today has been putrid. It has taken him a while to get going twice this season; first few weeks of the comp were terrible Ut he improved significantly and was playing really well into Origin. But he has come back slowly again.

Obviously sliding doors and all that (ie he might not have got injured at Panthers) but maybe the reason the powers that he didn’t want to offer him the long term contract.
