Forum Upgrade

As you may have noticed, we've just upgraded our forum software to the latest major version. There are some new features that come with the new software, and we'll highlight these over the next few days.

Just like any major upgrade there are likely to be teething issues, but we'll work through these as quickly as possible.

If you've got any bugs to report or constructive feedback, please post them in this thread and we'll take a look.

The embed should still work if you manually change x.com to twitter.com in the URL - having said that, @TooheysNew is this something that can be done for Twitter/X embeds?

The Google ads implementation is definitely a bit off at the moment. I’m getting multiple instances of Elon Musk’s face spruiking some IQ test no matter how often I dismiss it. Isn’t Google supposed to show alternative ads once you indicate you’re not interested?

This ad wont go away. Just sits in the middle of the screen and can't be stopped. It makes viewing the site impossible.
It only happens in LU.
I've tried to clean cache, update, restart.
I cant turn ad blocker on because i lose my LU priveledges.

You should see an 'X' in the corner of the ad. Click on that.

I'm getting it too, click on the X and it goes away.

When the page is refreshed it comes back.

Hey mate, I'm trying to get help with an ad that stays in the middle if the screen and won't go away. Usually you can hit the X to either minimise the ad ir get rid if it, this one hasn't got one and it just sits in the middle and obstructs everything.
I've disabled adblockers and given the LU site all the permissions it requires. I changed to three different browsers but it still comes back.
I used both a direct browser log in and also the LU mobile phone app and neither work, the ad is still there.
Ive attached a screenshot.
Lastly is the forums@leagueunlimited.com email the same as "contact us" at the bottom of the home menu as I don't get replies from them.
I've also tried to msg twizzle.

That's kind of over thinking it. Just hit the x in the corner of the ad.

I said in my msg that it doesn't have one and they all disappear in a few seconds but this one is like it's on an endless loop or something.
Thanks for looking into it as I really can't use the forum....very frustrating, and I have an IT background ha ha.
