Yep. I run an ad blocker by default but sites you use all the time (for free) deserve to make some money from ad revenue. Turn off your ad blocker for those sites. Stop being a merkin.

Mine did it too. I ran and hid, then peered at my screen from around the corner. I then tip toed back to my screen and changed it back to white in my preferences. It was a scary time.

Mine has changed too but I'm going to leave it because it makes me feel like a tough merkin.
