Four Broncos cleared of sex assault allegations

It depends what happened.

If its just over the video recording then the sex act is as much her responsibility as the others. If she consented, she consented. The players are still dumb as all hell though.

If the video taping made her uncomfortable and she asked them to stop and they continued then that is sexual assault and how many times have we had that fact drilled into our heads. If a woman says no, you stop.

Everyone in this scenario has been idiotic.

What level of personal responsibility do we place on the woman though?

I mean going into the men's toilet with three guys can't lead to anything good.

I'm not saying she deserved it if she was in fact raped, but is there something to be said for taking personal responsibility for your own safety?
Yes, but...

It comes down to consent. Just because someone says yes to one thing, doesn't mean if that thing changes in some way their consent is still assumed. Jodie Foster was in a good film about it once...

Regardless of what is or is not determined, the three were dumb f**king knobs to put themselves in that situation of risk anyway, imo.

I'm in a weird place right now.

On one hand I'm absolutely appalled at the behaviour of my players who I've looked up to over the past 4-5 years. While on the other I'm relieved the incident wasn't as ugly as I originally assumed it was.

Still a horribly stupid thing for the players to do and I'll be waiting in anticipation to see what occurs over the weeks in regards to these three players. Honestly I'd hate to be in Cullens shoes right now.

Agreed mate, that's the crux of the whole thing.

After what's gone on in the last 4 years, after warnings from their captain, after the information they recieve regarding conduct in public, and so many other factors in their favour - I mean such actions just leave me shaking my head in sheer disbelief at the stupidity of some people.

I know these are trying times, GBL, but I don't think its so bad as to let Robinson anywhere near a first grade jersey.

I suppose there is the possibility of the team being galvanised and putting up a remarkable performance to beat the Storm ... highly unlikely in my view if these 3 are shown the door or suspended

but even if they did perform that miracle "this week" ... Storm, Sharks, Manly (likely) ... no chance in hell of going all the way

$3 (to win the comp) the Storm is looking mighty juicy right now

Oink !

This is bullsh*t. Everyone in Brisbane was excited about the Broncs chances and now they've gone and done this. They can get f*cked I'm not paying to go watch them play on Saturday night. Surely a finals drinking ban or something isnt that hard.

On another note interesting to see another one of the Footy Show's favourites has misbehaved this year. Sonny Bill, Greg Bird and now Thaiday...the list is growing.

Will be interesting to see how they defend him
