Once again someone trying to pin it on the woman.
The girl can put herself in any situation she wants to,but once she has withheld consent then the decision needs to be respected.

This situation is the fault of the football players at hand,it is very disappointing for Broncos fans that they have put themselves into such a situation but they did it themselves the woman does not play a part in the blame in anyway shape or form.

I really wish people got that through their heads,we live in 2008.

Smartest thing said on this thread yet!

She may have some questionable choices regarding location and amount of sexual partners but she still has the right to say no at any stage and they should of had the respect to stop.
Its their fault 100% if they continued without consent.

Fa Farks Sake!!!
A week before a major semi final, possibly the toughest match of the finals series, after slogging out a 26 round season to make it there and this FA*KWITS can't wait another couple of weeks to go and get on the sauce.
I hope to hell that Bennett takes the stance that he always has, respects himself, the Broncos and OUR game enough to stand these fools down for the entire series!!
Idiots!!

as if, she had her mouth full!

so are you's trying to say she isn't a footy whore?

I'm saying that IF she said no at any point and was ignored that anyone elses opinions of her morals do not have the slightest relevance.

I'm certainly not going to make my mind up about anything at all based on a few sketchy media reports though

I'd prefer the Broncos brought back Rohan Teevan rather than play that Reece Robinson on the winger. He's a shocker.

if she did say no, then they have to stop.

but why isn't more emphasis being put on the situation she put herself in?

footy whores are so common

Didn't the case against the Tigers player get thrown out because the girl put herself in that situation? The players could argue against her accusations (unless one of them was thick enough to record her saying 'don't film me'.

Then again, how many times are people filmed on phones without getting nailed for it? Check out Youtube for example.

I think the girl was smarter than the players. And the game suffers as a result.

IMHO the Broncos don't have to do anything to the trio, on moral grounds, unless they are charged. And why haven't they been charged yet?

All Brisbane have to do is make 'em sleep at Benny's place for a week. With Webcke as a house guest.

Yeah right. Three Bronco players getting s*cked off and then two of them r**ting a girl in a nightclub sh*thouse while one of them captures the action on film. Nothing sordid or ugly about that. Standard behaviour.

Seriously, what is it about NRL players and sex in toilets? Can't they at least get a room?

Twisting my words a bit arn't you?

When I first heard the news I assumed the worst. For the girl involved I feel terribly relieved.

Still it was a horrible thing to do and I'm incredibly dissapointed in the players involved.

I am saying you are a potential rapist.

You are disgusting.

You dickhead. You are a potential mass murderer. All people are a potential anything, doesn't mean they are.

Women rape men too you politically correct f*cktard.

How about judging things on their merits, than labelling people with minority group slogans.

The only idiot is the one thinking that the Broncos WONT play their own rules. Too much at stake....and there is NO WAY cutie will be stood down.

And what part of Brisbane's history with player conduct has led you to this declaration? I'm interested, considering Brett Seymour was sacked for alcohol related incidents and subsequently signed by Cronulla.

Brisbane have been known as one of the strictest clubs in terms of player conduct, so I guess if you consider being harsher on players than most other clubs "playing their own rules", then you would be correct.

But you don't, so you're not.

Unless they have a witness stating that the girl asked them to stop, there really is no legal case is there?

It has been known that after getting involved in this type of stuff, and realising that it perhaps isn't the best thing to be involved in, that a girl cries foul and involves the Police. I'm not saying that this is what happened, but it has been know to occur more than once. Perhaps this is what "Brookie" is implying? Or perhaps "Brookie" is just a fool....

If these 3 players participated in this act in the toilets of a seedy nightclub, then isn't it worse than the Todd Carney "pissing on the leg" incident?

I don't get it as to why a female would put herself in that position in the first place, unless she was dragged in kicking and screaming.

There should be some form of advertisements in place for teenagers and young adult females to be aware of the dangers they can put themselves into when confronted with these situations and they should learn to say NO from the start.

And then the craziest of all is why would 3 well publicised professional players put themselves in that position?

Nothing good was ever going to come of it for either parties.

Todd Carney wasn't sacked for pissing on anyone's leg. He was sacked for repeated alcohol related incidents and for failing to agree to terms put down by the club ie rehab/fine/community service.

I totally understand that.
But to the general public, this looks 1000x worse. It is far more damaging to the game of Rugby League.

And what about the lies from Hunt to the media?!? FoxSports News showed him walking to his car saying that he knew nothing of the allegations!! The Broncos golden child doesn't look so golden now does he?
