The rednut.Darius in the days when he was well behaved, sipping orange juice and playing XBox with his mates:
Who led him astray????
I told you one thing in that very post. You were wrong about Spence.
Yeah, all the minor stuff that would have sunk without a trace will raise it's head in the media now.
And all because some guys still involved in finals couldn't help themselves from getting on the drink wanting to share sex in public together in a cubicle at 8pm and capture it for memories on a mobile phone for their other mates who couldn't fit in there with them.
Consent issue (and it's a potentially big one) aside, I still contend these guys are just f**kwits....
And yes, maybe there are f**kwits in normal life too who aren't footy players. But I believe footy players should aim to (or should be expected to) act a bit differently to your garden variety weekend f**kwit. People in other professions have to have boundaries on their out-of-hours behaviour because it could affect their employer or the expectations of their profession, rich arrogant footy players should not get a special exclusion.
If we lose families and kids and sponsors from our game simply because these guys don't know how to get their rocks off safe from these risks, then the game will lose it's vital support quicker than you can say "aw, but it's so unfair professional footy players are in a fishbowl".
How many examples do we need before the game, the NRL, the clubs, other players (the majority who apparently don't do this stuff), and us as fans stop putting these well paid wankers on a pedestal? Make some difficult conditions part of their contracts (for the sake of the game and it's future), and if they don't like it, they can all f**k off and earn their "market value" elsewhere, and f**k up some other sport.
Still not happy, and after such an exciting weekend of footy I'm now going to struggle to cheer/watch/be interested in these merkins this weekend.

- Claims Lockyer "semi-tackled" staff member
- Incident allegedly occured at Brisbane bar
- Adds to Brisbane Broncos woes
THE Brisbane Broncos off-field woes have worsened with claims captain Darren Lockyer grabbed a hotel manager on a night out.
ABC TV tonight played security footage allegedly depicting several Broncos players involved in drunken behaviour at Brisbane's Casablanca Cella Bar two weeks ago.
The club's manager Sarosh Mehta claimed the Broncos captain "semi-tackled" a staff member outside the venue on September 6, the night after Broncos Coach Wayne Bennett's emotional farewell at Suncorp Stadium.
The network played footage of a patron wrapping his arms around a staff member's waist and pushing him.
"From what I hear from my manager, it was somewhat of a semi-tackle, it was a bit of strong push," Mr Mehta said.
However, it is impossible to identify the person involved in the incident from the footage, though Mr Mehta told the network his staff had informed him it was the Broncos captain.
The incident is alleged to have occurred after several players drinking at the club took alcoholic beverages outside club, breaching the venue's liquor licence.
"The manager, obviously doing the right thing as per out liquor act and licence conditions, went over there and asked for them to be returned and he was just pushed aside," Mr Mehta said.
Mr Mehta warned players would face a zero tolerance policy at the club.
"If they act up, be they Broncos or be they men in the street, they will definitely be banned," Mr Mehta said.
Broncos CEO Bruno Cullen could not be reached for comment.
However, it is believed the club tried to use legal channels to prevent the ABC from playing the footage.
The latest allegations come after Brisbane detectives had interviewed fellow Broncos Karmichael Hunt, Sam Thaiday and Darius Boyd over an alleged sexual assault of a 24-year-old woman last weekend.

Now that really is an example of the media trawling for dirt on league, what a pathetic nothing story. Love Dr Smith's comments at the end, word to the wise buddy the Broncos currently turn away sponsors so we won't go into a state of hysteria just yet.
K, I seriously refuse to believe that Lockyer would be involved in anything that would be seen as unacceptable or derogatory.
this is becoming ridiculous now! how does this happen, is there a conspiracy against the broncos? are the media going to great lengths looking for bad stories about the broncos? Is it all a coincidence? im sick of it, leave the broncos alone and let us win our premiership, thanks.

Young men who are amped up after a good win go out and consume large amounts of alcohol in public places. That usually does it.
any evidence they consumed 'Large' amounts of alcohol?

Lockyer should be suspended for the remainder of the year, including the World Cup.
