People can do whatever the f*ck they want with their own money.

People asking the players to not drink alcohol for the season... lol... then reality kicks in.
Yes the legal drug is fine. Just fine.

Just don't have coke or alike at a party where no one else is raped or bashed.

The NRL will sack you then and ban your for years.

Accused of rape- no problem.

Drink drive - no problem.

Assualt - No problem.

Have an eccy, hurt no one, endager no one but yourself, no police involved at all- banned

Have some coke - hurt no one, endager no one but yourself, no police involved at all - banned

Smoke a joint -hurt no one, endager no one but yourself, no police involved at all - banned

12 hour drinking binge no problem, it is legal.

But I digress.

wait so its the supposed 'gayness' of it that bothers you? that sounds kinda homophobic to me. like its so wrong coz god forbid a footy player but like to see another mans penis. OH NO.

Not especially, too each his own I suppose ... but I'm sure none of the guys involved will consider themselves gay in any way whatsoever.

do you realise just how common group sex is in football culture???

Most of us have outgrown the 60's. I wouldn't have thought it too hard for football to do likewise.

FTR I do not care who f*cks who and however many are involved with consent.

I simply point out the hypocrisy of those who call her a sluuut and think it is fine for the blokes to share her.

I wonder about the motivation of the women who throw themselves at footy players, and think its ok to do things like giving multiple blow jobs in pub toilets. Why? Poor self-esteem? Desperate to have her 5 minutes association with fame? Just incredibly horny? Other things? They may have perfectly valid reasons in their own minds - but they escape me.

Do they hope somehow that the player will think "she's the one" and not treat her like sh*t like the umpteen others before her?

It might be the "notch in the belt" mentality,or the trophy root..sleeping with someone normally untouchable.
Dunno,just guessing..

But you do not question the moral compass of the three blokes?

Group sex with consent behind closed doors is pretty fine, can't see many people arguing against that in this or other threads.

But it's the:
- drinking to excess the week you're in the finals
- having group sex in a public place
- filming it with or without consent
- jumping to the front of a 40min taxi queue like heroes
- and abusing and/or spitting on members of the public

...that I think go a long way to casuing the negative perceptions about players and rugby league?

And that's regardless of whether any charges are laid of the players involved end up stood down from any games etc. We are dead set losing the battle between other codes as far as a lot of families and their kids will be concerned by tolerating or excusing these standards of behaviour among footy players.

When families are making the choice which sport to take little Johnny or Jill along to watch (like they did for most of us here) and then maybe the choice for them to start playing a sport, the extent of behaviour like this for rugby league guys is (rightly or wrongly) giving Union, AFL and Soccer a head start. It is a bigger drama for our game than SBW and Gaz wanking off to France for more money, as far as the sleeping giant of our casual supporters go!

The game has a responsibility to its players - assuming players generally are dumber than the average person and (haven't had the chance to?) have any clue about respect for the public/women - to educate them and reinforce about acceptable behaviour. For the sake of the individuals concerned, but also because of the investments in and the future hopes of the game in general. It's that simple, excusing public misbehaviour in various ways can not ultimately be good for the game.

Mr Angry I never said she was a whore/s**t or whatever. if she is into that kinda stuff than good on her. its not my deal but whatever. i'm not gonna make judgement calls on other women.

yeh i dunno it confuses me too. i cant wrap my head around it because eventhough obviously i adore my footy, its never been something ive been into.

i think its like, if they have been with a footy player it somehow inflates their own sense of importance. which is utterly ridiculous coz its not like they are hard to get with. ive seen heaps of groupies at footy after parties and they literally just sit in chairs waiting. never talking to the boys. and giving us filthy looks when we have u know...actual conversations with the players. its totally bizarre.

and im pretty sure they are there every week which makes it even more odd. I DONT GET IT GIRLS.

But if the roles are reversed?
Imagine a guy gets it on with 3-4 of the Opals..his mates would call him a legend.
Same situation,different label.:?

Either that dude, or his mates would be picking him up from hospital, those chicks are huge!
