All team lists in this week. Game of the week for me would be the battle of the west. Mt. Albert v Howick shapes up as a good one too.

Enjoy your local footy fellas.

interesting to see duffie keeping kelvin to the bench

howicks first true test against a power house of the fox...will be a sign of where they are.

tat should be fine against ora, ora have too many oldies. gavin bailey, how is he still running around, gees he was running with city-pt chev back in the days they played fox, many a year ago.

has heta finally matured? is he going around calling himself william now? wonders will never cease

i see im the only one to tip ponsonby. i was told the hawks dramas arouse again saturday night, so with that in mind had to go the ponies. plus the ponies are due

Te Atatu were 22-6 down, went 24-22 ahead with 4 minutes to go, and then dropped the f*cking kick-off and conceded a try.

Then they went over for a try literally at the same time as the full-time hooter sounded, but the touchie said the left winger went out...hard to tell from the opposite side of the field.

Paddy was in attendance....

as i thought, mangere easts dramas have really affected their on field play. i tipped ponsonby for that very reason. amazing turn around for ponsonby, finally scoring some tries and putting it together.

sad times for the fox when a team gets 84 put on them. the same core group of clubs up there, the others just there to make up the numbers.

i think its time to bring in a points system for each club. something needs to be done to even the comp up

No chance for a points system.

I wouldnt read too much into the marlins scoreline.
They simply player crap.
Also their best player hooker Darin Kingi was starting for the vulcans.

Also while its not a good look two weeks ago they just lost to mt albert.
And were comptitive throughout most of the game against the leopards.

It is true that marlins dont genuinely have the experience or polished pool of players.
Even worse is they dont have any of the resources currently to give them a legitimate chance.

If they could of held on to local juniors and experienced players like Rusty Bristowe, Anton Tusani, Jessie Ioapo (papakura) Henry Heta and got Willie Heta (otahuhu) back in manurewa colours. They would have been a top four team easy.

Clubs have money to through around and buy key players (or even teams)- manurewa cant even hold on to local juniors who live down the road.

Also remember manurewa / papakura have been looked at the lesser clubs to come back & make and win finals over past few years not over yet for either of them.
