Little fulla played his last game today.

I really hope he enjoyed his first season mate.

I really hope he enjoyed his first season mate.

He has and is very keen to play again next season for the Lions.

More pressure will come on him in coming years as he'll be attending a RU school and we gave a 'committment' that he'd play for the school (if selceted). At MARL apparently they give out a cup to players who score 100 points (from Prems down to 6s). He is pretty happy as he got there a couple of weeks ago.

In hindsight perhaps he should have moved up to one of the older grades (he played a couple of games in the older Open and restricted teams).

One of the most frustrating things this year has been the cancellations. RL has been cancelled on a number of occasions when RU and soccer still played on. There is obviously a reliance on council grounds.

Cricket training has already started (early!).

TAT played poorly on Saturday, although watching at the ground the size difference between the two teams was pretty remarkable. Otahuhu are a real bogey team for TAT for that reason I think.

It's a tipping comp champ, I was at the ground supporting them...

I watched the Fox on TV today . A very entertaining game with Oats going over in the last few minutes.
Maori TV showed the victors after the game seeing their team song. Obviously the editor couldn't hear too well as it was not censored and one line went something like ,
"... Otahuhu the Fu***$ best".

I also watched the Sharman Cup where ECB were just too good.
