Matt Eliott should be on a panel somewhere. Really it is a no brainer. Slot him in for Daley pleeeease!!!
And if they get rid of Phelan then they have rocks in their heads. Sure I know they are going for Matty Johns, but Phelan is fast witted and a great host. He would be perfect for a "Lounge" type of show, that is based on less formality. He did it for 1 episode and kicked arse. Way better then Smith.
Really what is wrong with these TV execs? They so often get it sooo f**king wrong it isn't funny. Also Rene Gartner should be found a spot on something pertaining to league. She is league through and through and has balls.
Finally TV execs need to stop looking at hiring mostly high profile ex players and look to the lesser ones, but who can actually put thoughts and ideas together and then even more crucially, announciate them in coherent words that make sense to the general public. But not be boring like Cam Smith who speaks well, but in clichés and rarely criticises anyone. INTELIGENT polarization is the name of the game on TV, not intellectual snooze fests or boofhead baffoons that make us all cringe.
