WENDELL Sailor has been bounced out of the powerful Channel Nine stable after his agent tried to demand a lottery money-style new contract.
Once highly-regarded in the Willoughby bunker, Nine executives could only laugh when middle man Les Ross rolled in and tried to get a ridiculous pay rise for "International Dell".
The meeting lasted only a few minutes before Nine power brokers nipped it in the bud - explaining why last year's Footy Show favourite Sailor hasn't been sighted this season.
When we contacted Ross, he tried to hose down the situation by claiming: "We're just negotiating with them, that's all. It's no big deal, OK."
He then hung up the phone.
Sailor has long been popular with television executives across a number of networks and continues to work on Foxtel.
At last year's Melbourne Cup Day celebrations at Crown Casino, Big Dell was spied sharing a man-hug with Channel Ten powerbroker James Packer.
