Not overly impressed by either team TBF. The standard isn't great. It reminds me of a lower half SL game, you know, like Salford v Wakefield or something like that.

It's a shame the commentators don't seem to know the difference between américain (a continental identity since l'Amérique is a continent) and états-unien.
No, you were about right. But if that's the lowest standard in the WC then that's not too bad, especially compared to the World Cups of other sports where there are always some awful teams.Do you think it's better than the standard I mentioned then?
It's been entertaining in parts but France will have to improve a hell of a lot if they want to beat Samoa or PNG.
Are the union player/'s playing for the USA?
France:does anyone have the team lineups? i think usa rested pettybourne and newton? but that was pretty much a full strength french squad tbh i think the us have a chance against scotland and wales, not sure if they can get past the cook islands though cant wait for the wc to start!
as i said i think a full strength us squad could cause some upsets in this wc, does anyone know the scorers list? i think shipway, priestly, offerdahl got over for the isaFrance:
1. Escare
2. Stacul
3. Baile
4. Duport
5. Vaccari
6. Bosc
7. Barthau
8. Elima
9. Kane Bentley
10. Casty
11. Larroyer
12. Raguin
13. Mounis
No idea about the subs but I know Pelissier, Fakir, Simon, Cardace, Fages and Andrew Bentley all came on.
