Houston's close to signing Marc Gasol to max-contract offer sheet, working a sign-and-trade with Memphis to secure him, league sources say.

Wow.

Guess that means Houston is out on Pau Gasol and Nene.

Which should be interesting now...Does Nene go to the Nets...and stuff any chance of them getting Howard...does he stay in Denver or does he go to Golden State?

But wow...max contract for Marc Gasol and Memphis will be screwed now. Randolph wont have a season like that again...he'll get in trouble off the court again this season more than likely.

Looks like Memphis' short run...gonna end with yet another rebuilding effort.

Brown played for the Bobcats in 10-11, where he had a bounce back season of sorts.
The Heat also expressed interest in signing Brown.

I dont get the signing. Sure Rip is an upgrade on Bogans/Brewer/Korver, but he cant shoot the 3 and thats what Bulls really need at the 2.

Afflalo is going to get overpaid, but he wouldve been the perfect player for the Bulls imo.
