Here is a checklist of things you are likely to need or would like to have going into the Westie Wembley or the Western Fortress on Friday Night:
* A ticket - this is handy shall you want to enter the ground. You could be like Skull and attempt to find a vantage point outside the ground but a ticket is the better option.
* A Red V - a must for Semi-Finals. It doesn't matter what type or era it comes from, on Friday night don the Red V. It epitomises the tradition and pride of St George like nothing else.
* Get there early.... preferably before 5.45pm. For two reasons.... to mark the Army's territory in the North-East Corner and also to give the Premier League lads the reception they deserve.
* A scarf, flag and/or banner. If you own a banner or flag, bring it along, if you own a scarf, bring it along.
* A pre-match beverage - settles the nerves like nothing else. You don't have to start at 1pm (I know of people who are) but a quiet beer or 3 at the game helps settles the nerves and produces a little bit of the mongrel within to get yourself fired up.
* Your voice - the next four games are away games as far as I'm concerned. hence they don't like us and we have to hate them. Bring your voice loud and clear. Be ready to sing for up to 160 minutes. To do this, you may have to bring along a during game drink or two to keep the vocal chords ready.
And last but not least, do as Gasnier 3:16 would tell us to do:
F#CK ME, FIRE UP!
