I'd rather play Brisbane than Parramatta...that's seems the concensus.
Parra's backline is very good, and our backline has been forced into a bit of a reshuffle with Manu and JRo going down/out with injuries.
Brisbane would still have Hodges and probably Hunt, but without Lockyer, Berrigan and Tate, it's just not the same.
Keep Mannering off the wing. It was the game against Parra in 2005 (one of the first games in his career) where he was exposed bigtime. Wouldn't want that happening.
Rubes will play. In 2004, he suffered an ankle injury in the final round and SOMEHOW played for Canberra in week one of the finals the week after.
Gatis should start. We need a fast start and Gatis is able to cause havoc around the PTB early on. Fien's the right guy during the middle stages of a game - he can do the same against a tiring defense, whilst adding a kicking option too from dummy-half. Not all is lost for Nathan though, his last finals appearance in 2004 with NQ, he was excellent and almost led the Cowboys to the decider.
