It's almost getting to the point where my disdain for the club outweighs any pleasure I have following my team. And that is after supporting them for decades. I will not go to any more games until something significant happens in terms of current coaching staff overhauled and the same for the Board.

Yep, I know I'm clutching at straws but if crowd numbers drop below 5K then they cannot ignore the loss of revenue.

You could be right mate just my opinion at this stage.....sometimes though some of these rumours need to be ignored and hopefully disappear....but I take your point

If true.....and it is a big IF, can we get Doust back? At least we got (and lost) Bennett and a premiership when he was CEO, what we have from Johnson is disaster. Mary has been made a protected species by the media, and more importantly, the Club management. Frizz leaving would tear the guts out of our squad. But fear not, Mary’s position is safe.....read the article by his mate Webster in this morning’s paper. Every excuse known to man listed next to several references to our ‘successful’ 2018 season. No blame for Mary and see the story with the heading ‘Don’t Blame the Players, put it on Me’ . This article sees Mary acting as the martyr but really saying IT IS THE PLAYERS FAULT NOT MINE! Read his quotes. For a while there I defended Mary but those days are long gone. My only ‘defence’ of Mary now is that I blame Johnson and the Board first and then him second. Talk about the coach not having a Plan B, this Club doesn’t. A total disgrace.

Correct....His comments are always based on his own self Interests.....The Board is solely to Blame for extending him twice....I.M.H.O we should never have signed him in the beginning.

Little will change....too many people who allegedly are putting their own self interests ahead of the success of our club. R.I.P St George Dragons....that is where we are headed....and these fools couldn't care less.

The only good thing about these rumours and the “ please leave our mate Mary alone/ he is safe as houses” articles is that pressure is obviously growing on the Club. The ‘resting’ of Hunt is another piece of the puzzle. Me thinks (and hopes) that Mary is losing the players. It has got to the point where I half want us to lose our remaining games. I NEVER EVER thought I would even think that......but I do. The only thing that would make this season worse for me would be for us to win a few on the trot and save Mary.

And thats a real possibility. If Widdop, Graham, Lomax and the like get back on the field together and all but JDB play and we win some g ames..then I can just see it now, ...... I kept telling everyone it was the injuries that cost us

Trent Robinson has come out and squashed the rumours that Angus Crighton is unhappy at the Roosters, so that debunks the whole Frizelle article

I'm a builder so if worked crunching figures and doing the maths all my life but l can't work out how they can keep all this 'best of' players, under the salary cap. NRL state that a club MUST pay market value for a player and are not permitted to pay an under value figure.

Little the NRL can do if any player mid contract seeks a release, providing all parties reach mutually agreed terms within cap guide lines and no deliberate breech occurs, including third party payments then NRL have no reason to not register new contract(s) of any player. Dosn't however sit well with most fans.

Have said it for years. The ONLY thing that will force change is if memberships and game day attendances tank. But still people renew their memberships every year. The club havent got a cent from me since 2012 and won't until we get a competent coach.

Its a joke sign mary 2 more years and players will jump ship .Tyson should be resigned asap long term and as our captain.
