From what I saw Green is overrated but Inu and Hayne were quite good.

I know alot of people especially Jake are always complimenting Blake Green. From what I saw he looks promising but I hardly think he is the superstar he was made out to be. To suggest he is better than Tim Smith at the moment is ridiculous. His passing game looked very good but his kicking game was quite poor I thought and I didn't see much of a running game. I also thought Inu looked very threatening everytime he touched the ball. Is he a specialist winger or a utility back?

In premier league I thought Jarryd Hayne was what Jake described him to be. He looked very comfortable under the high ball and had little trouble beating defenders one on one. What was most impressive was that he made no mistakes. Does he have the ability to create things like a Matt Bowen or a Mark Gasnier is or is he a good finisher?

Is Marcus Perenara a halfback? Most of the general kicking in play was done by Jeremy Smith.

Storer was very impressive as well. Is he a young guy or an older premier league player? Alot of people are wrapping Joel Reddy and want him in first grade next year. Although he is very safe under the high ball and defence, I still don't think he is as good as Mckinnon in attack at this stage.

Ashley Graham plays in premier league just like he does in first grade! He was pretty pathetic in defence. He knocked the ball on with open space and was pushed over the touch line once and nearly a second time. Sure he scored a good try but all the tries the roosters scored were let in on his side!

He plays centre too, but he was VERY impressive at wing.

He's better at 6 than 7, but premier league need him at half.

Older guy I think, he's played first grade before though.

He was great in attack in first grade though but wasn't as good today. Still, I think he deserves the #1 to start the year.

Green is a hack...he will never be of first grade standard...he doesn't read the play well at all.

Reddy is solid and tough- but nowhere near McKinnon biased view or not.

Those that shone for me today were Inu, Number 11 in flegg was damaging but had a terrible work rate, Storer, Tsolous, Delaney and Marcus Perenara. He should be in the top grade with a big off season under his belt.

Tough to make a call based on 1 performace. A grand final game at that... I'd tend to listen to the ones that watch them week in week out for reports on how they are going and what they might be able to achieve.

Give Green a chance, he's had a few injuries this year. He will come good.

I also think that Inu and Hayne are outside chances for 1st Grade next year. Its hard to believe at the start of the year they were in SG Ball

Wasn't one of Green's best games but 1 game isn't much to judge him on

Last week against the Cowboys Tim Smith had a poor game so it'll be like someone just seeing that game and saying Timmy is over rated.

Inu has played centre and I think he is better suited there despite his strong game on the wing.

Hayne has played wing, fullback and centre this year he is more of a finisher but his footwork and speed can create things although that part of his game will need a lot more work before he can be compared to the likes of Gasnier or Bowen in that regard.

Storer is an older player but is by no means too old to still make it as a 1st grader, not sure excatly but I think he is about 23 so he'll need to do something in the next 18 months if he's going to go any further but he does have the potential

I think he's PJ's backup tho so if Marsh misses any time next year through injury, suspension or rep duties then I'd be expecting Storer to be next in line.

Aren't you supposed to be at the game Macca?
Never got tickets on Monday. After going out in first grade we decided not to try and get them. Saved me coin for cup day :D

I've seen Green play 5 or 6 times and let me tell you the wrap on him in here is exagerated big time....there's some calling for him to be in first grade. He still looks 2 years away from reserve grade. Michael Witt mark II for mine...goes missing and struggles in attack in flegg.

I know it was only one match (and an important one at that), but I must say I agree.

His kicking game was ordinary. His running game looked good, though.

He will come good. Hopefully. He has had some poor games this year I will be the 1st to admit this but he has also had some good games. Maybe the 5/8 role is not his go and he is more of halfback. Or maybe the half back was not giving Blake enough support.

I was kinda unimpressed with Green - his opposing #6 was all over him today.

Hayne is deadset awesome - he is only 17 right?

Inu was also very good.....as were Delaney and Storer.

Well generally I think you have a great judgement, so I trust your opinion.

I'm willing to say it's a one-off.

I did think Law did nothing to support him (apart from setting up Inu's try).

One thing in his favour though - Blake never gave up. He kept trying and always got involved. Unlike a certain player whose name rhymes with "Sick Fitt".

My honest description of Green from just watching today is lazy....I don't know - maybe he is a laid back kinda guy, but he doesn't seem overly keen to do anything
