great news.

hard to believe that hadley et al were bagging brian smith for bringing fui (when he was a reserve grade winger) to parra a number of years ago.

great work by smith, taylor, hagan and anderson for getting fui playing the way he has the last few years.

No conflic of interests there.

I'd argue that a greater conflict of interest is having the same board controlling the LC and FC.

And I'd be more worried if Cayless' manager was on the board. :(

Nonetheless, this should not present a problem provided the LC Board divests itself of football operations as they have said they will do, as Spagnolo is not on the FC Board and therefore will be at arm's length from anything to do with football operations.

Fui's best year of footy so far imo. He's getting on, but NZ could do worse than look at him for the test squads...

Moimoi should have been first prop picked for NZ in the world cup.. and should be 2nd prop picked after Asotasi for the next game.

I'd even go as far as picking him before Asotasi. Roy is a great player but he's shining in a competitive pack. Fui is shining every week against far better packs in a crap pack of his own. Says a lot about him imo.

who else does roy manage that plays in the nrl?

I read that he also manages Guru but haven't heard of anyone else.

Further to talk of conflicts of interest, I found this quote in the Tele:

You had to be convinced to run on the 3P ticket, right?
Yes. I was a registered player agent and there was an obvious conflict there. I've rang Paul Osborne (NRL Agents Accreditation officer) to tell him I'll be relinquishing that role.
