OK, so it's pretty much confirmed that Kidley is gone fore 12 weeks. That would take it to round 22, so he may only play another 2-3 games before the season is over. Now is the opportunity to train up a second fullback for FG duty. We have used Hinton in the past, and are using Gordon right now. Vuna is apparently a more than capable FB and I think Mad Pup and Mad Dog can both fill the role if required. The person may or may not be a specialist in the position, but I think we need to pick someone with potential and let him play himslef into form over the next 12 weeks. Ideally he will also be able to play on the wing/centre when Kidley returns.

So what are our choices and who should we pick? I find it hard to accept Gordon has the job for the rest of the season :sarcasm:

Doogs has been a very good fullback in the past - and he seems to be overthinking or something in defence at centre and wing at the moment.

I think Doogs would fill the spot fine till kidley comes back.

No, it's not. He doesn't need surgery, so it's 4-6 weeks, as Burwood said. Way to keep up with the news :roll:

Id go with Mad Dog also, so he doesnt f**k up so hard on defence but he can attack however he wants to with those runs.

I'd go with MacDougall, if only because it gets him out of the defensive line he seems intent on not being a part of.
