Burt moved to thecentres for the last 30 mins when Vaealiki went off with a sore ankle, and Wade McKinnon came on at the back. Burty's good anywhere he fits into the side, and could easily end up fullback wing or centre depending on what we need each week.

agree Luke had an outstanding game!! however Wade McKinnon is a real worry in firstgrade. He looks great in Premmys but looks to be one of these blokes who would have trouble stepping up.

Hopefully Ash will come good from his injury and be a more than reliable option in the backline.

I thought McKinnon showed some promise towards the end of the game, he made a good tackle on Marshall when they looked like scoring, and backed up well in attack.

When Graham comes back i think he should play on the wing, Burt is a much better fullback.

When Ash comes back I would love to see Burt givena chance at 5/8.
Great speed and can read a play, and i think his defence would stack up, and obviously fitness would not be a concern.

Just a thought!!

Also, I saw Micky V limping off, and he had is boot off on the sideline at the end of the match.

Hopefully nothing serious there.

SO if Wags pulled out, and Witt was in premier league, Who shared 5/8th duties? Delaney/Thorman? Any reports on their performances yet?

yeah that hit didnt look great at all, thankfully though common sense was restored and Robbie O back away from his initial claims.

It's a great thought. Burt needs to be given more chance with the ball in hand, that is why I have been plugging him as a possible half since the start of 2002.
