That's cool, I think he's a fine runner, I just don't think it's what we need.

For example, Mat Head was a half that we needed. Pop Fults and Ellis around him and he's no gap in the defence. Maybe he'll develop a game that he's not really shown so far, but, going back to my original point, we've seen a forward show better skills over time. To me, that's not particularly promising.

I can see where Westie is coming from as neither Moltzen or Benji are your classical in your face controlling halfback like a Brett Kimmorley and at times against the Roosters our attack was all sideways and noone getting ball runners to run straight and hard. Benji is doing his best to change his style a little, but it would be silly to change him too much as he creates plenty by running a cross field it`s up to the ball runners to run straight and hard and give him options, hence the reason we need plenty of strong ball runners in the side, not too many run the ball stronger than our own Josh Davis currently in the Magpies Premier League side.

Back to Moltzen, he is a class act but certainly not a natural halfback by any means just yet. However, he has plenty of class and has plenty of skill with the ball, he`s certainly not just a good ball runner only. Not only that, Scott Prince himself was purely a ball running 5/8 with very limited ball skills early in his career, therefore he is proof that intelligent footballers can modify their game with time, experience and confidence. I remember watching quite a bit of Scott Prince early on in his career at the Cowboys and there`s no doubt whatsoever that Tim Moltzen is a similar but better player at a similar stage of their careers.

I'm not saying he isn't better than Morris, f**k I'm better than Morris. I'm saying we need a traditional half. Prince was a nothing with talent when we signed him. Why don't we do similarly again. All we need is someone who kicks, passes and organises at a decent level, we don't have that. What's hard to understand? Right now we have forwards who do it better than our main half, that's simply not acceptable.
We have a halfback with one of the best kicking games around in Josh Lewis.

While we desperately need a consistant and reliable kicking game from our halfback, the coach is adamant to avoid that.

The fact you tried to compare Fulton to Any half is ridiculous on its own. His season stats are no more impressive than John Morris' at half.

You appear to be making a crazy statement based on, as you stated 5 minutes.

f**k, even Adam O'Neill once had 5 great minutes on the field, doesn't mean he's a world class three-quarter.

Fulton is playing at 6 for Huddersfield to amend a big defensive issue they had in the middle of the park. He's fixed that.

Hodgson is still playing mostly as a five eighth in attack for Huddersfield, moreso than he ever did with us.

Fulton is a defensive stop gap measure. While he has got some skills, he's not a reliable or skillful half. He's a f**king lock. And a good one at that.

Moltzen is going great, being young he'll be easier to work with to sculpt his game into a more genuine halfbacks role, given the right coaching.

I'd prefer Moltzen at 7 than anyone else at this club or at Huddersfield. And yes, we could win a premiership with him there.

I firmly believe if he had've been at 7 and Gallant at 1 all season, we'd have had more wins and would be a few rungs higher on the ladder.

But that's not what you want to hear so you'll disregard it completely, as per usual, and you'll continue with your warped, ignorant and uneducated opinions.
