I got a sign taken off me in a cricket test at the Basin Reserve. Although it got on the tele first. "I choked Linda Lovelace".

I still cant work out why they took it off me.

Most Clever sign I saw was at the SCG in the early 80's. Test Match West Indies vs Oz, when the likes of Holding, Marshall, Garner, Richards, Haynes etc were ruthlessly tearing Australia a new one (and had been all series). On the Hill...

really? they all look awesome.

I figured if it was branded with all the sponsors' logos, the club or the sponsors would spring some cash for it. it would be 100% better than having an ad on the hoarding space along the sideline.
