Well... to be honest, it's quiet. Festing crap aside (i.e. NBB, Crusher, downunder, myself, n2lb, etc), the past week or so it seems to be really slow and drab with not much traffic... in particular Saturday n Sunday just now... what's crappenin? Are people sick of the FFB or is there just noone online this weekend for any variety of reasons?

Thoughts?

Alot of threads are hijacked by the same people with festing or fisting or something equally as uninteresting. Hence alot of people become bored of the place, and conversation is slowed down or killed.

It happens every year after the footy season finishes :p

I would've thought the opposite... with little footy left to discuss I would've thought the FFB would actually increase with others who get bored with other slower sections.... meh.

I'm guilty as sin of the festing stuff, 100%... and yeah JM is right - it kills conversation and people get bored. If I see nbb, Crusher or another known 'fester' has posted, I kinda get over it... doesn't inspire me. I'm guessin it's the same around the traps?

Every year the FFB slows down after the NRL finishes. People don't just move here because a majority just want footy talk, not festing :p

I got sick of it over the last couple of weeks with all the bannings and threads being closed. Was taking a bit of the "fun" outta the place...

You made a comment and I told you why. Don't get on your high horse about it.

There are times when they are warranted and times when they don't need to occur. When things got out of hand with a few posters, admin dealt with it as they saw fit. Same thing happened a few years ago with Half.

No. Had you replied with your comment but without the "TOUGH" I woulda just accepted it. I was not having a go at anyone in general in my post yet you seemed to take acception to it.

As for a thread for opinions, people who seem to share theirs or who have differing opinions from others seem to have their threads shut down quick smart. The freedom of speech has been greatly restricted in this forum of late, and I am not the only one to have noticed it either.
